Gino D’Acampo’s new Boar Lane restaurant and bar is now open!

The UK’s favourite Italian chef, Gino D’Acampo has unveiled his brand-new flagship restaurant in an iconic venue in the heart of Leeds today. The stunning venue is located in the newly refurbished Marriott Hotel on Boar Lane, following a remarkable £2m transformation.

The restaurant boasts bold new interiors unlike any other in Gino’s portfolio and has been created by highly acclaimed international restaurant designer, Bernard Carroll.

Guest’s will be greeted by the impressive 13 meter back lit Onyx bar, at the centre of the restaurant a seated cicchetti counter surrounds the striking brass pizza oven, bespoke statement wallpaper, white washed brick work, brass finishings, and handmade pendant lighting.

The upmarket Italian restaurant will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and cocktails until late. Reservations are available now and can be booked online here or by calling 0113 4680804.

The outdoor terrace arrives just in time for warmer weather and serves as the perfect location in which to sip one of the bar’s signature spritzes.

The à-la-carte menu, designed by Gino D’Acampo and his esteemed team of chefs, and to be delivered by head chef Emanulele Diana, is fitting for its location, incorporating a generous selection of Italian classic dishes with a focus on quality and ingredient provenance. The menu sees 11 key sections – pane and olive; stuzzichini; bruschetta and antipasti; carpaccio and tartare; insalata; pasta and risotto; pizza al forno; pesce and crostacei, dalla terra; griglia; and contorni, with every dietary requirement catered for.

Signature dishes include arancine al funghi, linguine alle vongole, and vitello alla Milanese. Guests dining on a Sunday can also enjoy one of two succulent Sunday roasts. An extensive dessert (dolci) menu provides the perfect finish to every dining occasion, including Gino’s own personal favourite, tiramisù.

Speaking just ahead of the new opening, Gino D’Acampo said:

‘’I couldn’t be happier to finally share our incredible new project with you all. I’m extremely proud of the work that’s gone into creating my new restaurant. Myself and our talented team are excited to welcome all our guests.

Head chef at Gino D’Acampo, Boar Lane, Emanulele Diana added; “Bookings for our new opening have gone through the roof. We’re pleased to see that the people of Yorkshire are just as excited about our new restaurant as we are. It’s quite the showstopper and our team can’t wait to welcome you all.’’
